How is FOCUS different from other handhelds?
Most handhelds use 2 wavelengths with spaced-out LEDs and a single mode. FOCUS has 7 wavelengths (633 to 1064 nm), 22 chips in a gapless array, 4 built-in modes including 10 Hz and 40 Hz pulsing, and it comes with a hard-shell travel case and a free personalized plan.
How do I use it?
Hold ▶‖ for 3 seconds to unlock, press Mode to pick a mode and press ▶‖ to start. In 5 Min Miracle, Pain & Recovery and Deep & Brain, place it on the skin and glide it slowly over the area. In Skin mode, hold it 2 to 12 in from your face. Each session lasts 5 minutes and the device switches itself off.
How often should I use it?
Every order includes a free personalized plan that sets which mode to use, where and how often, based on your goals. The user manual also has a protocol for each mode.
Is it safe to use on my face?
Yes. Use Skin mode, held 2 to 12 in away, and wear the included eyewear on or near the face. Near-infrared light is invisible but still bright. Do not use it over tumors, pacemakers or the abdomen during pregnancy, or on anyone under 12.
Can I travel and fly with it?
Yes. The 37 Wh battery is under the 100 Wh limit airlines allow in carry-on bags. Keep it in the hard-shell case, and the 3-second child lock stops it switching on in your bag.
How long does the battery last?
About 80 minutes, which is 16 five-minute sessions per charge. It charges over USB-C (5 V 2 A).
Is FOCUS a medical device?
