Seven Rivals. One Table. Nowhere to Hide.

RLT Home vs 7 Leading Brands

We lined our panels up against seven leading brands, wavelength by wavelength, dollar for dollar, using each brand's own published numbers. Their wins are on the table too. That is how confident we are.

Why RLT Home Leads

Six Reasons We Stand Apart

The category is strong, and it has caught up on EMF and lab testing. These are the differences that still set RLT Home apart, before you even reach the spec sheet.

01

Deepest spectrum on the table

7 wavelengths weighted deep: 19% at 810nm, 14% at 1064nm, and 56% of all output at 810nm and beyond.

Every rival: 12.5% or less at the deepest band, or none

The Full Breakdown

RLT Home vs The Field

Every figure below is each brand's own published specification, checked in 2026. More listed wavelengths is not more therapy; what matters is how much output each band gets. That is why we show the allocation, and say plainly where a brand does not publish one. Where a competitor leads, such as a longer warranty, it is shown.

Competitor brands are anonymized as Brand 1 to Brand 7. All figures reflect each manufacturer's own publicly published specifications, checked in 2026, and may change. Where a competitor leads, such as a longer warranty, it is shown.

We anonymize competitors so this page stays about specs, not names. Want to know which brand is which? Ask our team on live chat or at contact@redlighttherapyhome.com and we will tell you, along with the source of every figure.

Brand 1 is an established, capable panel with third-party-verified irradiance and app plus voice control. The differences are in the engineering: it drives its single-chip LEDs at 3 watts against RLT Home's 5, spreads a wider 60-degree beam against our focused 30 degrees, and skews output to the shallow bands, with only 4% at its deepest 1060nm band.

Bottom line: more depth per LED, stand in the box, and an exit that costs you nothing but return postage.

Full bodyChained narrow panelsOne 64 to 65 in panel

Brand 2 is one of the most recognized names in the category, with a polished app and a patented pulsing mode. But every panel it sells emits only two wavelengths, 660nm and 850nm, with no 810nm and nothing deeper than 850nm, on dual-chip LEDs that split each diode's power between two bands.

Bottom line: seven wavelengths against two, one panel instead of a chain, and a longer warranty.

Brand 3 is the closest to RLT Home on transparency: it publishes per-wavelength density, both meter readings, and a low EMF figure, and it backs its panels with this group's longest warranty, 5 years. Credit where due. Where RLT Home pulls ahead is depth, delivery, and risk: 14% at 1064nm against their 9% at 1060nm, a focused 30-degree beam against 60, and 60 days to decide against 30.

Bottom line: they win the warranty; we win depth, beam, trial length and what is in the box.

PlanNoneFree, personalized

Brand 4 lists the most wavelengths here, 8 bands, shares our focused 30-degree beam, and publishes both meter readings with very low EMF. The catch is distribution: its dual-chip LEDs spread output roughly evenly at about 12.5% per band, so no deep band is emphasized and each wavelength's peak power is divided across the chip.

Bottom line: eight even slices spread thin, or seven weighted where the evidence points.

RLT HomevsBrand 5 · wide size range

Irradiance at 6 in73 spectrometer / 160 solar122 spectrometer / 179 solar
LED designDual-chip 5WSingle-chip 5W
Stand$139 to $349 extraIncluded

Brand 5 is a strong, honest mid-market choice: verified irradiance, no detectable EMF, published allocation, and a wide model range at fair prices. Its limit is depth. No panel it sells includes a 1064nm band; the deepest it reaches is 940nm, and only on its flagship. It also runs dual-chip LEDs and a wider 60-degree beam.

Bottom line: a fair panel without the deepest band; ours ships with it on every model.

Allocation25% each across 4 bands (Ultra)Weighted: 19% at 810, 14% at 1064
Full bodyNarrow panelsOne 64 to 65 in panel

Brand 6 is the value pick, with low entry prices, a built-in tabletop stand, and no restocking fee. But the spectrum is shallow, 2 to 4 wavelengths topping out at 850nm, the marketed output figure does not match its own manual, and the larger panels are narrow, making true single-panel full-body coverage difficult.

Bottom line: a fine starter panel; not a deep-tissue tool, and the numbers do not add up.

RLT HomevsBrand 7 · newest entrant
Key factBrand 7RLT Home

Full body36 in panel, stand extra64 to 65 in, motorized stand incl.

Brand 7 lists the widest spectrum here, nine wavelengths including 590nm amber and 670nm, with per-wavelength dimming and pulsing up to 10,000 Hz, features we genuinely do not offer. What it does not publish is the part that matters: no wavelength percentages, no spectrometer reading behind its solar figure, no beam angle, no measured EMF, and no third-party test reports.

Bottom line: more bands on the box; fewer numbers behind them. We publish ours.

The bottom line

Seven strong brands, and real credit where they lead: a longer warranty here, a lower entry price there, pulsing modes we do not offer. But on the questions that decide results, how much light reaches deep tissue, what the panel really costs with a stand in the box, and whether the brand shows you its numbers, RLT Home publishes more and delivers more. Try it for 60 days and measure it yourself.
